I was contracted to illustrate a few pages for a children’s book. The author provided two prompts and gave me full creative freedom to bring them to life. I went with a hand-drawn, illustrated style, creating most of the artwork using a tablet and pen, and then refining and enhancing it in Adobe Illustrator. I wanted to keep the design playful and inviting for children.
